The new record of Stroytekhnologiya JSC - when building the foundation, we adopted 1,700 m3 of concrete by a continuous method!
During the construction of a strategically important facility, Stroytechnology JSC updated record figures for continuous pouring of a densely reinforced monolithic foundation with a base area of 828 m2.
The reinforcement of the foundation was carried out with the use of specialized equipment for joining rods with a diameter of 40 and 25 mm using connecting couplings. This technology ensured the production of a single bar of reinforcement up to 46.0 m long. The applied equipment and highly qualified personnel ensured 100% strength of the rod without losses at the joints, confirmed by laboratory studies.
Concreting of the structure was carried out continuously for more than 50 hours. Concreting was carried out using concrete pumps with a boom length of up to 40 m and unloading the concrete mixture through equipped trays from concrete mixers directly into the structure. The volume of the accepted concrete mix was about 1,700 m3. Delivery of the concrete mix was carried out from 5 concrete-mortar units. About 170 flights with a length of up to 250 km in each direction were carried out by concrete mixers.
