Strofiber reinforcing macrofiber is a polymer fiber used to reinforce industrial floors, concrete structures and in torqueting.
Macrofiber is a twisted tow of 22 fibers 54 mm in length. Once in concrete, they form a volumetric reinforcement throughout the body of the concrete. High-filled concrete with fiber fiber withstands operating loads, restrains the appearance of microcracks, reduces shrinkage processes of concrete during strength gain and significantly increases impact resistance.
Macrofibre can be replaced by:
- Steel fiber
- Basalt fiber and microfiber
- Composite (fiberglass) or steel reinforcement
- Welded mesh
(or they can be used together - for additional reinforcement at high loads)
